I'm just back from a wonderful weekend at the Summer School at Kinsale Pottery & Arts Centre. I enjoyed it so much I didn't want to come home! 😊 It really was an excellent course and I learned so much from it. I enjoyed making the sculpture in particular, something that I didn't think I would be bothered with initially, but it ended up being my favourite aspect of the course. It was great getting to try out so many different techniques and Adrian was so generous with his time and knowledge. I'll definitely be back to do another workshop in the future.”

Have you thought about making your own Raku kiln?  If you're a potter with access to an electric kiln for biscuit firing and would like to build a raku kiln, test it and take it home in the boot of your car, we are happy to have you along for two days of this 3-day course - the Saturday to make your kiln and the Sunday to test it.

Materials cost approximately €260 and we will order these for you (given about 2-3 weeks notice).  The two-day participation will cost you €280 inc Vat.  Call Adrian on 0879696901 to discuss.
