“I'm just back from a wonderful weekend at the Summer School at Kinsale Pottery & Arts Centre. I enjoyed it so much I didn't want to come home! 😊 It really was an excellent course and I learned so much from it. I enjoyed making the sculpture in particular, something that I didn't think I would be bothered with initially, but it ended up being my favourite aspect of the course. Have you thought about making your own Raku kiln? If you're a potter with access to an electric kiln for biscuit firing and would like to build a raku kiln, test it and take it home in the boot of your car, we are happy to have you along for two days of this 3-day course - the Saturday to make your kiln and the Sunday to test it.
