WEEKEND STAINED GLASS WORKSHOP

Course Description:

This weekend course offers a practical beginners course in stained glass panel-making using lead and solder.  During the weekend you will learn how to design and create your own stained glass panel. You will learn the age old technique of creating a template, glass cutting, leading and soldering. The cost of materials are included.  With social distancing measures in place, this will take place in two rooms, with demos and tuition. All materials will be pre-cleaned and you will each have your own set.

Joy McAllen is a graduate of the Crawford College of Art, Cork and holds a H.dip in Art for art and design teachers. She has completed many public and private commissions and has been awarded several commissions throughout Ireland. To view her work please visit www.joymcallen.ie
