One-day to Introductory Pottery class

Class description:

Have you ever fancied signing up to a pottery course but have been unsure whether you'd enjoy it?

How about dipping your toe in the water with a one-day workshop at Kinsale Pottery.

On this one day course you will learn how to:

Throw on the potter's wheel

Coil a small sculpture

Learn about pinch pebble sculpting

Decoration with clay slip

The day runs from 10am to 5pm and has a one hour break to drop into town and sample the delights of Kinsale's great cuisine, or bring your packed lunch to eat at the pottery.

all your work will be fired and glazed within 2 weeks of the class, ready for collection

Dates 2024: Aug 24th, Sep 15th, Oct 19th, Nov 16th (FULL), Dec 14th (Christmas themed).

Dates 2025: Feb 23, Mar 22, May 25, June 21, July 13, Aug 9, Sept 21, Oct 18, Nov 2.

Price: €150 (2 people €280) including materials and firings, teas and coffees and VAT.
